<br />27 <br />Survey respondents were asked how much they spend in Kittitas <br />County on an average day on the Yakima or Cle Elum Rivers – <br />listed in rank order of response. <br /> Daily <br />Outfitting supplies – fishing, boating, photo $56.71 <br />Auto – gas, rental, repairs $40.71 <br />Food – restaurants, coffee shops $36.71 <br />Accommodations – hotel, B&B, RV parks, campgrounds $35.65 <br />Boating related – rentals, gas, fees $25.91 <br />Entertainment $23.38 <br />Drinks – bars, taverns $19.28 <br />Other recreation – fees, tours $17.96 <br />Alcohol – brew pubs, wineries, distillers $16.95 <br />Other retail – clothing, gifts $16.30 <br />Artworks and craft items $5.66 <br /> <br />Implications <br />The results of the on-line survey, though based on self-selected <br />samples, indicate the Yakima and Cle Elum Rivers are significant <br />recreational and environmental attractions to residents and tourists <br />alike that currently and potentially generate considerable economic <br />impact in Kittitas County if properly development and managed. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
