If the culvert is at least 3 feet deep and another 5 feet <br />is excavated for a total of 8 feet of clearance the culvert underpass would still be 4.8 to 11.4 feet above the river. This seems doable and is <br />preferable and more feasible than asking BNSF for a surface crossing in such a remote place. <br />
