KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 5, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Waive Floodplain <br />Development Permit Fees for the Kittitas County <br />Conservation District <br />BACKGROUND: Recently (01/14/19) Public Works briefed the Board of <br />County Commissioners regarding a request to waive <br />Floodplain Development Permit fees for the Kittitas <br />County Conservation District (KCCD). Fish passage <br />barrier removal and fish screen projects are both supported <br />by the Flood Control Zone District and by the Yakima <br />Integrated Plan. <br />Staff does not have the authority to waive Floodplain <br />Development Permit fees. The attached resolution will <br />waive these fees for all current and future KCCD fish <br />barrier and screen projects. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to waive Floodplain Development <br />Permits fees for all KCCD fish barrier removal and screen <br />projects. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
