APPENDIX A <br />During first quarter 2018, a sub-committee of the Ellensburg Business Development <br />Authority (EBDA) convened to perform a review of the competitive position of the <br />EBDA, and set strategic actions for delivery during 2018. <br />ELLENSBURG'S ECONOMIC STRENGTHS <br />• Innoyatjon. Ellensburg is home to one of Washington State's premier <br />comprehensive universities, Central Washington University. Toe AACSB <br />accredited College of Business Is the home of the Institute of Innovation and <br />Entrepreneurship (I4IE). Established seven years ago with a grant from the <br />Herbert Jones Foundation, the 14IE is the intellectual hub for entrepreneurship <br />and youth generated start-up businesses. The EBDA manages the Ellensburg <br />Business Incubator, where business start-ups take root and grow, graduating in <br />3-5 years to a new Ellensburg location. <br />Posture Recommendation <br />One of Washington state's Public Fully understand and utilize the <br />Development Authority's with bonding capabilities of a PDA.
