KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: January 15, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for February 5, <br />2019 at 2pm to consider amending Kittitas County <br />Code Section 10.08.010 Speed Limits and Section <br />10.12.010 Stops and Yields for Game Bird Loop <br />and Sage Grouse Lane <br />BACKGROUND: On November 4, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners <br />approved Resolution 2018-196 Adopting Game Bird Loop <br />and Sage Grouse Lane onto the Kittitas County Road <br />System. At the time of adoption the speed limit and <br />signage was not established. Public Works is now <br />requesting to set a Public Hearing to establish said speed <br />limit and appropriate signage on Game Bird Loop from <br />Milepost 0.0 to Milepost 0.61 and on Sage Grouse Lane <br />from Milepost 0.0 to Milepost 0.14. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for February 5, 2019 at <br />2:00pm to consider amending Kittitas County Code <br />Section 10.08.010 Speed Limits and Section <br />10. 12.010 Stops and Yields Game Bird Loop and <br />Sage Grouse Lane. <br />HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
