KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: January 15, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for February 5, <br />2019 at 2pm to consider amending Kittitas County <br />Code Section 10.08.010 (Speed Limits) to establish <br />a Speed Limit for Meadow Way <br />BACKGROUND: On October 8, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners <br />approved Resolution 2018-161 Adopting Meadow Way <br />onto the Kittitas County Road System. At the time of <br />adoption a speed limit was not established. Public Works <br />is now requesting to set a Public Hearing to establish said <br />speed limit on Meadow Way from Milepost 0.0 to Milepost <br />0.17 and place appropriate signage. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for February 5, 2019 at <br />2:00pm to consider amending Kittitas County Code <br />Section 10.08.010 Speed Limits to establish a Speed <br />Limit for Meadow Way. <br />HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
