KITTITAS COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT NO.2 <br />RESOLUTION NUMBER 18-27 <br />Certifying Property Tax Levy <br />Beginning January 1, 2019 <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Assessor has notified the Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County Fire District No. 2 of the assessed valuation of property lying within the boundaries of said <br />district for the year 2019 is estimated at $3,100,000.000.00 and; <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners of Kittitas County Fire District No. 2 has <br />met and considered its budget for the calendar year 2019, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners of Kittitas County Fire District No. 2 had <br />properly given notice of the public hearing held November 8, 2018 to consider the District's <br />revenue sources and current expense budget for the 2019 calendar year, pursuant to RCW <br />84.55.120, and <br />WHEREAS, on November 6, 2018, the voters of Kittitas County Fire District No. 2 <br />authorized a levy lid rate increase to $1.50 per $1000 of assessed value; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Kittitas County <br />Fire District No. 2 as follows: <br />1. That the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners and the Kittitas County Assessor, be and is <br />hereby requested to make a regular property tax levy for 2018, to be collected in 2019 for <br />Kittitas County Fire District No. 2 in the amount of $4,900,000.00, plus new construction and <br />any increase in state -assessed property. <br />2. That the Treasurer of Kittitas County, Washington be and is hereby authorized and directed to <br />deposit and sequester the monies received from the collection of the tax levy specified in <br />Section 1 above into the General (Current Expense) Fund of Kittitas County Fire District No. <br />2. <br />Adopted at the regular meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners on this 8" day of November <br />2018. _ <br />Attest to: <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />� r <br />Commissioner <br />
