These occurrences are <br />located approximately 202 river miles <br />apart along the Columbia River in <br />Washington. One occurrence is located on <br />an island in the Priest Rapids Reservoir, <br />north of the town of Beverly, Washington. <br />G5/S1 One population occupying <br />approximately 276 acres <br />is known to occur within <br />the region. <br />Primary threats include altered water <br />regimes, erosion, trampling, OHV <br />compaction, and exotic species invasions. <br />Historically known populations and suitable <br />habitat in Washington and in Oregon have <br />been lost due to dam construction. <br />Restricted to exposed <br />basalt, cobbly-sandy <br />terraces and sand habitat <br />along the banks of the <br />Columbia River.
