BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH PETROLEUM AND LUBRICANT PRODUCTS FOR 2019 <br />AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2019 <br />on November 8, 2018 and November 15, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on November 29, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Department and two (2) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bids of A -I Petroleum <br />for Schedule "A" and Co -Energy for Schedule "C" be accepted; and <br />WHEREAS: No bids were received for Schedule "B"; and <br />WHEREAS: After negotiations, the current Vendor for Schedule "B", AmeriFuel, (formerly R.E. <br />Powell Distributing) has agreed to continue their accepted bid pricing from 2018, <br />awarded under Resolution 2018-012; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends the responsible bid of AmeriFuel, (formerly <br />R.E. Powell Distributing) for Schedule `B" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby award the bid to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2019 to A-1 <br />Petroleum for Schedule "A"; Co -Energy for Schedule "C"; and AmeriFuel, (formerly R.E.
