Conclusions and recommendations are presented in Section VI. <br />PURPOSE OF THE STUDY <br />The overall purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and economic impact of <br />the proposed state horse park. More specifically, this study meets the following <br />objectives: <br />1. Evaluate the demand for and economic viability of a high quality, multi,.use <br />complex designed to meet the needs of the diverse sectors of the State's <br />substantial horse ii:idustry. <br />2. Determine ·the feasiblrity of establishing a successful faciHty <br />in Kittitas County which will meet the needs of national, <br />regional and local shows, westem events, and related equestrian activities. <br />3. Make specific recommendations as to the appropriate organizational structure <br />needed to acquire control of the site, solicit funds to construct improvements and <br />successfully operate the facility over the long term. <br />4.
