BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-£ <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON KPFF TASK ORDER NO. 8 <br />SUPPLEMENT NO. 2 -NO. 6 ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT DESIGN <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners authorized KPFF Task <br />Order No. 8 with Resolution 2017-115 No. 6 Road Bridge Replacement Design; <br />($87 ,354.00); and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners authorized KPFF Task <br />Order No. 8 Supplement No. 1 with Resolution 2018-034 allowing additional <br />design accommodating the Ellensburg Water Company ditch rider road access at <br />the bridge ($7,850.00); and <br />WHEREAS: Recent pile driving operations have required additional geotechnical and design <br />support addressing two pile driven to less than original design depth; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature on KPFF Task Order No. <br />8 Supplement No. 2 in the amount of $3,000.00 bringing the total task order value to $98,317.00. <br />DATED this 20th day of November, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />0 Clerk of the Board-Julie Kjorsvik <br />Q1Seputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz 0NJ~fy /4Au 11/ <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />t)L__ar@~ <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice-Chairman <br />-zit <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner
