W h at We Heard <br />1. How would you describe Cle Elum? <br />Recreation area, middle of the state, base of the Cascades, relaxing, "woodsy". <br />2. What makes Cle Elum unique? <br />Interesting history of coal mining and logging. There is a lot to do here all year round. The Outdoors. <br />3. Why do you come downtown? What do you like best? <br />For limited services and some retail. There is a collection of historic buildings. Parades and events. <br />4. What do you like least? <br />Too hot in the summer to walk downtown, lack of character, not enough retail stores. Traffic (truck route). <br />S.
