November 7, 2018 <br />TO: Kittitas County, Incorporated Municipalities of Kittitas County, Kittitas County fire Protection <br />Districts & Hospital District #2 <br />RE: Amendment 2 to the KITTCOM Governing Agreement <br />At the October 20, 2018 KITTCOM Administrative Board Meeting, the Board approved the attached <br />amendment to the KITTCOM Governing Agreement. As participating members of KITTCOM the <br />amendment has to be acknowledged and signed by each agency/department/district. <br />The amendment addresses two items. The first, is the removal of Kittitas County Fire District 8 from <br />the Governing Agreement as they have merged with King/ Kittitas County Fire District 51(Snoqualmie <br />Pass Fire & Rescue). The second, is to increase the number of board members to serve on the <br />Administrative Board from seven (7) to eight (8) members. The additional board member will be a <br />representative of Kittitas County Fire District 2 as a stand-alone member and Fire District 2 will no <br />longer rotate through the fire districts board member position. <br />Included with this letter are two items: <br />1. KITTCOM Governing Agreement, Amendment #2 (2 pages) with signature box for your agency <br />to sign and return a copy to KITTCOM, ATTN Darlene Mainwaring, 70o Elmview Rd, <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926. <br />2.
