The Kittitas County model encompasses the entire county and includes all of the <br />roadways classified as collector or greater within the county. The included network is <br />described in more detail later in this document. The original network was based upon <br />the cities' and county's roadway functional classification maps as determined by Kittitas <br />County staff. Additional streets or roads were added based upon the judgment of the <br />Kittitas County staff. Roadways included in the Kittitas County model are shown in <br />Figure 2. It is important that the model include the major roads leading in, out, and <br />through Kittitas County because these have an impact on traffic within Kittitas County. <br />Figure 2 <br />Kittitas County Model Network <br />The model Traffic Analysis Zones, also known as T AZs are areas with points where <br />trips begin and end.
