BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - <br />ADOPTING THE KITTITAS COUNTY TWENTY YEAR (2018-2038) <br />TRANSPORTATION PLAN <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County is updating its land use comprehensive plan pursuant to Revised <br />Code of Washington 36.70A (Growth Management); and <br />WHEREAS: The current long range transportation plan is now ten years old; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has produced anew twenty year transportation plan (2018-2038); <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The new plan updates and replaces transportation policies and service level <br />forecasts for the public roadway network to 2038; and <br />WHEREAS: The 2018-2038 transportation plan includes necessary projects for <br />replacement/repair for the twenty year period; and <br />WHEREAS: The plan also includes a proposed funding plan supporting identified plan <br />projects; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby adopt the Kittitas County Twenty Year (2018-2038) <br />Transportation Plan. <br />DATED this 16th day of October, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
