RUBY, STE. #1 <br />ELLENSBURG, WA 98926 <br />The intent of this call for quotations (bids) is to purchase Snow and Ice Control Products for the Calendar <br />Year 2019. The material is to be delivered, upon order by Kittitas County to the following locations. <br />Delivery Locations <br />Five (5) mile Radius of Cie Elum Shop, 3`d & Short, Cie Elum, WA 98922 <br />Five (5) mile Radius of Kittitas County Shop, 14`h & Okanogan, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />GENERAL PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS <br />The products to be bid are based on the 2006 Pacific Northwest Snowfighters (PNS), Snow and Ice Control <br />Chemical Products, Specifications and Test Protocols. The PNS Association of British Columbia, Idaho, <br />Montana, Oregon and Washington strives to serve the traveling public by evaluating and establishing <br />specifications for products used in winter maintenance that emphasize safety, environmental preservation, <br />infrastructure protection, cost effectiveness and performance. <br />The PNS Association has developed the Qualified Products List (QPL). The QPL is composed of products <br />that have been tested and found to be in conformance with PNS established specifications. Kittitas County <br />will consider bids containing the following type of products. <br />Item No. Description <br />1 Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Magnesium Chloride <br />2 Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Calcium Chloride <br />3 Corrosion Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride <br />4 Non Corrosion Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride <br />5 RoadSaver — Soil Stabilizer <br />ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTATIONS: <br />Prospective bidders may bid on any or all of the items. <br />All quotations or any parts thereof may be rejected or accepted by Kittitas County. <br />Kittitas County reserves the right to purchase any of the products quoted from the vendor of its choice based <br />on the availability of the needed material and an estimate of lowest total costs to the County. <br />CONDITIONS OF AWARD: <br />The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to purchase from suppliers other than the <br />successful bidder, if for any reason the successful bidder is unable to promptly furnish snow and ice <br />control products of a quality which is satisfactory to Kittitas County's requirements. <br />
