Umptanum Rd • Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />(509) 962-7525 • (509) 674-2584 <br />FAX (509) 962-7599 <br />September 6, 2018 <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Kittitas County Courthouse <br />205 West 5th Ave., Room 108 <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />Re: Event Application - Huffrnan Farms Pumpkin Festival throughout the month of <br />October 2018 <br />Dear Board of County Commissioners: <br />After review of the Event/Permit Application, the following is required; <br />All structures open to the public shall have one 2A-IOB, C fire extinguishers readily <br />available. <br />Any LPG tank shall be physically secured to prevent displacement. <br />Extension cords may not be piggy -backed or daisy -chained together and should be placed <br />in a manner that minimizes trip hazards. <br />Parking shall be such that fire apparatus access is maintained at all times and access roads <br />shall remain free of obstructions. <br />Please insure that all required permits have been issued 14 days in advance of the event at <br />which time an on-site inspection will be scheduled. <br />The intent of the International Fire Code is to provide a reasonable level of life safety and <br />property protection from the hazards of fire, explosion or dangerous conditions. <br />The requirements listed above offer a reasonable level of fire and life safety protection <br />for this project.
