the siting of solar facilities, preserve rural character, and protect and preserve <br />resource lands; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Board directed staff to prepare enabling documents with certain <br />amendments to the proposed regulations. <br /> <br />SECTION II – FINAL DECISION AND SIGNATURES <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED, that the Board of County Commissioners, <br />after due deliberation, hereby approves the amendments to Kittitas County Code regarding <br />Solar Power Production Facilities as shown in the attached “Exhibit A” and “Exhibit B” which <br />shall become effective at 5:00 p.m. on October 2, 2018; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Community Development Services Director and <br />Prosecutor’s Office are hereby authorized to make any corrections necessary to remedy any <br />scrivener’s errors contained in the attached “Exhibit A” and “Exhibit B” without additional Board <br />action; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the official Solar Power Production Facilities Overlay Map is <br />hereby adopted as identified by the signature of the Chairperson of the Board and attested by <br />the Clerk of the Board; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDAINED, that the moratorium enacted at Resolution No. <br />2017-027 on February 7, 2017 and Ordinance No. 2017-002 on March 13, 2017 and extended <br />by Ordinance No. 2017-004 on July 18, 2017, Ordinance No. 2018-003 on January 3, 2018, and <br />Ordinance No. 2018-013 on July 3, 2018 is hereby rescinded effective October 2, 2018 at 5:00 <br />p.m.; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDAINED, that after 5:00 p.m. on October 2, 2018, <br />applications for Solar Power Production Facilities may be accepted and processed by Kittitas <br />County consistent with the requirement of the revisions to Kittitas County Code contained in the <br />attached “Exhibit A” and “Exhibit B.” <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this __2nd_day of ___October____, 2018. <br /> <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Obie O’Brien, Vice-Chairman <br />
