KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: October 2, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for October 16, 2018 at <br />2pm to Consider the Placement of a Stop Sign on Meadow <br />Way (MP 0.0) at the Intersection of Sparks Road and <br />Amend Kittitas County Code 10.12.10 <br />BACKGROUND: Recently, the Board of County Commissioners established <br />Meadow Way onto the public road network. The County <br />Engineer recommends placing a stop sign at the <br />intersection with Sparks Road. A public hearing is required <br />to amend the County's stop sign ordinance. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing for October 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM local <br />time receiving testimony to consider placing a stop sign at <br />the Meadow Way (MP 0.0) Sparks Road intersection. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice to set public hearing <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
