3. County Priorities: Indicate which of the following priorities are being addressed by the <br />proposed project. (Select all that apply and give a brief 100 word description for each <br />selected.) <br />I ✓! increase capacity and sustainability for homeless sheltering. <br />FI SH and KVMA are both experienced In serving th e homeless community and bring <br />d ifferent strengths to this program . FISH is able te p rovide the organizational support, <br />a n increased vol.uriteer pool , and food service provi ding mea ls that will fprtify and are <br />long lasting. <br />KVMA will bring insight into the unique problems of staffing and maintaining <br />Ellensburg's Shelters. <br />Both have worked with and are familiar with the individuals in Ellensburg's <br />homeless population giving the partnership a unique persp ective and advantage in <br />doing the things needed to sustain the Shelter and keep in secure. <br />'I ✓ I Connect shelter clients to services to reduce homelessness . <br />FIS H brings a relationship with the so cia l agen ci es In Kittitas County arid a lread y works <br />wi th most of them to s upport Food Pa ntry and O pen Table clients . T hose relati onshi ps <br />will be a rich source of creative ide as to engag e the Shelter clients In programs and <br />advise those who are interested in ways h improve their situations. <br />D Increase site-based rental vouchers for people who are homeless with wrap- <br />around case management through current partnerships. <br />6
