BOWERS FIELD — AIRPORT MASTER PLAN <br />current contracts for waste management including the hauling contract, and landfilling contract to will <br />identify opportunities for recycling through existing and other locally available providers. <br />14.2.6 Potential for Cost Savings or Revenue Generation <br />The Consultant will review all elements related to the generation, reuse, recycling, and disposal of all <br />waste materials generated on the airport and evaluate and provide recommendations for costs savings <br />or revenue generation. <br />This section will include the following tasks: <br />A. Plan for future development projects including hangar construction, tenant improvements, <br />landside and airside facility development and rehabilitation projects. <br />B. Opportunities for periodic review to identify if market dynamics have changed (Le., glass <br />recycling pick up becomes available for the airport area.); <br />C. Recommendations for implementation including Immediate actions, short term implementation, <br />and ongoing actions triggered by events or projects. This will also include recommendations for <br />modifications to project specifications and airport contracting procedures to require recycling, <br />as appropriate, for future projects and agreements. <br />D. Summary of cost savings or revenue generation at the airport through the implementation of <br />the plan. <br />Product. "Draft" Airport Recycling and Solid Waste Management Pian working paper wilt be provided to <br />Kittitas County and FAA. FAA deliverables defined in Work Element 15.4; Kittitas County deliverables <br />defined in Work Element 15.5. <br />ELEMENT 15 - REPORTS AND DOCUMENTATION <br />Task 15.1— "Preliminary' Draft ALP Set <br />In order to address any concerns from Kittitas County or the FAA prior to the public meeting for the ALP <br />presentation, a draft ALP set will be prepared for Kittitas County and FAA preliminary review and <br />comment. Formal reviews will be conducted following the preliminary coordination. <br />Product: "Preliminary Draft" Airport Layout Plan Set will be provided to Kittitas County.
