SECTION 7 <br />EN1213161143SAC DRAFT – 12/23/16 7-1 <br />Scalehouse and Scales <br />The new facility will be equipped with an inbound and outbound manual scale, and an inbound automated <br />scale that will be dedicated for commercial accounts. The scalehouse and scale area will also have room <br />to accommodate a future outbound automated scale. <br />The scalehouse will be situated between the inbound and outbound manual scale and will have a working <br />area large enough to accommodate three computer screen monitors (each side for inbound/outbound), <br />a camera system, an ADA-accessible restroom, one ADA parking stall, a break area, and a floor-mounted <br />safe that will be built into the floor. The exterior walls of the scalehouse will be a combination of cast-in- <br />place concrete and metal panel siding over steel framing. The architectural features of this building will <br />be similar to those of the administrative building. <br />See Figure 7 for the scalehouse plan.
