I'd like to volunteer to give input & help with the upper county traffic task force. My property borders Westside Rd & I see a great many of the backups. This last Monday a commercial container hauler was in nearly 40% of my lane in a curvy dip with guard rails. I was really unhappy that the driver couldn't safely take the tum. He was trying to get around construction traffic illegally. Anyhow, I'm not around all that often. Usually Weds night thru Monday mid day . About me: Retired Teamster, live mostly in Snoqualmie, long time volunteer at the SV food bank North Bend . Eastern Wa native most of my life/ Spokane. I'm certainly a partially local:(:) outsider. I did spend years as a sole member of the public that sat in on the Spokane Cable advisory board. I was not on the board but my goal was to understand the goings on and push for net neutrality. This was tough, folks were old school & the city/ county was dealing with a communications monopoly. Anyhow, I can help if needed & will try to represent all traveling parties in an equable manner.
