Kittitas County Public Works Upper County Traffic Task Force Group
2. Are you a current resident or business owner of Kittitas County? What is the
residence or business address?
I am a current resident in , business owner in, and an elected representative for the City of Cle Elum.
3. What interests you most about becoming a member of the Upper County
Traffic Task Group?
What interests me most about becoming a member of the UCTTG is the potential of being part
of the solution to the traffic problems facing Upper Kittitas County. Secondarily of interest is
wo rking with other municipalities and citizens at large to building lasting amity and a spirit of
cooperation working to solve problems that affect each of us as citizens of Kittitas County.
4. We will need to develop solutions and coordinate actions with multiple
agencies. Have you worked in a team environment in the past? If so, please
elaborate.
I work daily in a team environment in my place of employ, chair the board of a local non -profit, and
represent my constituents as a councilperson. Each of these endeavors would have been short
lived if I had not demonstrated with dist inction the ability to work in a team environment. In addition
I'm a member of the greatest collaborative endeavor in the world known as the Harper Household .
5. Can you be fair and unbiased when it comes to selecting solutions to the
issue of traffic?
If you define lair as working to find an equ itable and reasonable solution for tt,e
greatest benifit of all parties involved; and if you define unbiased as being
impartial ; I believe I can be f air and unbiased.
Page 2 of2
