(3) Prior to expanding a Group B public water system to a <br />Group A public water system, the entire system shall be <br />brought into compliance with chapter 246-290 WAC <br />This chapter is promulgated pursuant to the authority granted <br />70.116 in the Public Water System Coordination Act of 1977, <br />Public Water chapter 70.116 RCW, for the purpose of implementing a <br />System Water System program relating to public water system coordination within <br />Coordination Coordination Act the state of Washington, for evaluation and determination of <br />Act of 1977 critical water supply service areas, and assistance for orderly <br />246-293 WAC and efficient public water system planning. <br />Authority to act when well, spring, stream, river or lake used <br />for drinking water source is being polluted. <br />Authority to act when landlord is furnishing impure water. <br />Every person who shall deposit or suffer to be deposited in <br />any spring, well, stream, river or lake, the water of which is <br />or may be used for drinking purposes, or on any property <br />70.54.010 Polluting Water owned, leased or otherwise controlled by any municipal <br />Supply corporation, corporation or person as a watershed or drainage <br />basin for a public or private water system, any matter or thing <br />whatever, dangerous or deleterious to health, or any matter or <br />thing which may or could pollute the waters of such spring, <br />well, stream, river, lake or water system, shall be guilty of a <br />gross misdemeanor. <br />The regulation and licensing of well contractors and <br />operators and for the regulation of well design and <br />construction. The legislature declares that the drilling, <br />Water Well making or constructing of wells within the state is a business <br />18.104 Construction and activity of vital interest to the public. In order to protect <br />the public health, welfare, and safety of the people it is <br />necessary that provision be made for the regulation and <br />licensing of well contractors and operators and for the <br />regulation of well design and construction. <br />KCC Title Well construction Allows the developer of a plat to bond for completion of the 1320: Water <br />and Sewers and reconstruction water system infrastructure. <br />Well Setbacks: <br />OSS Regulations-Prior to approving any development, the health officer shall <br />246-272A-Developments, require establishment of a 100 foot radius water supply <br />0320WAC subdivisions, and protection zone to fit within the lot lines OR Establishes a <br />minimum land wellhead protection zone around each existing or proposed <br />area requirements well site.
