Cook <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the airport manager to approve required airport layout documents as part of the <br />Master Plan Update process. <br />BRIEFING SUMMARY: <br />• The Master Plan Update for ELN is nearly complete. <br />• The Federal Aviation Administration is in final review. <br />• The Airport Layout Plan is required to be adopted by the sponsor and FAA prior <br />to Master Plan adoption. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />After nearly two years, the Airport Master Plan is nearing adoption. As part of the <br />adoption process, the sponsor (Kittitas County) is required to adopt the airport layout <br />plan. Once adopted, the Master Plan Update will then be acted upon. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Century West Engineering has prepared the Airport Layout Plan for sponsor adoption. <br />The plan considers retaining runway 7/25.
