A20 OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT OF 1970 <br />A20.1 <br />29 CFR part 1910 <br />A20.2 <br />SOURCE <br />APPLICABILITY <br />Contract Types -All contracts and subcontracts must comply with the Occupational Safety and Health <br />Act of 1970 (OSH). The U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) <br />oversees the workplace health and safety standards wage provisions from OSH. <br />Use of Provision -No mandatory text provided. The following language is acceptable to the FAA and <br />meets the intent of this requirement. If the sponsor uses different language, the sponsor's language <br />must fully satisfy the requirements of 20 CFR part 1910. <br />A20.3 CONTRACT CLAUSE <br />All contracts and subcontracts that result from this solicitation incorporate by reference the requirements <br />of 29 CFR Part 1910 with the same force and effect as if given in full text. The employer must provide <br />a work environment that is free from recognized hazards that may cause death or serious physical harm <br />to the employee. The employer retains full responsibility to monitor its compliance and their <br />subcontractor's compliance with the applicable requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act <br />of 1970 (20 CFR Part 1910).
