A14 ENERGY CONSERVATION REQUIREMENTS <br />A14.1 SOURCE <br />2 CFR § 200, Appendix II(H) <br />A14.2 APPLICABILITY <br />The Energy Conservation Requirements of 2 CFR § 200 Appendix II(H) requires this provision on energy <br />efficiency. <br />Contract Types —The sponsor must include this provision in all AIP funded contracts and lower -tier <br />contracts. <br />Use of Provision — No mandatory text provided. The following language is acceptable to the FAA and <br />meets the intent of this requirement. If the sponsor uses different language, the sponsor's revised <br />language must fully satisfy these requirements. Sponsor may substitute "Contractor and subcontractor" <br />with "Consultant and sub -consultant" for professional service agreements. <br />A14.3 CONTRACT CLAUSE <br />ENERGY CONSERVATION REQUIREMENTS <br />Contractor and Subcontractor agree to comply with mandatory standards and policies relating to energy <br />efficiency as contained in the state energy conservation plan issued in compliance with the Energy <br />Policy and Conservation Act (42 USC 6201 et seg). <br />Guidelines for Contract Provisions for Obligated Sponsors and Airport Improvement Program Projects <br />Issued on December 12, 2017 Page 42 <br />
