T TO LAW ,-D <br />JUSTICE COUNCIL RECOl�LNIE�"DATIO TS ON SPELN-DI G OF lI/10TH OF 1% SALES <br />TAX. RESERVES <br />`NTHEREAS : The Kittitas County Lav and Justice Council met at their regularly scheduled <br />meeting on December 20, 2017, and voted unanimously to approve the below described funding <br />recommendations; and <br />NVHEREAS: These expenditures shall be made from the 1 /10th of 1 % sales tax reserve account <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners for spending on special projects to foster <br />cooperation, sharing of resources and enhancement of criminal justice projects within Kittitas <br />County; and <br />'WHEREAS: Funding is to be made available January1, 2018 except where noted as available <br />upon approval of this resolution; and <br />NN'REREAS : The amount available for 2018 rants is approximately $40,000.00; and <br />NVTHEREAS : Estimated balance in the grant funds is approximately $116,000.00 after 2017 <br />Grant obligations and maintaining $_50,000.00 in reserve for the Ranffe Project, and <br />NNTHEREAS: The grants described below are recommended for approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOL'VTD: That the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />hereby adopts the following funding recommendations as made by the Kittitas County Law and <br />Justice Council and these expenditures shall be made from the 1/10th of 1 % sales tax reserve <br />account. <br />18-1 Kittitas Co. Public Health $1,000.00 <br />Supplies/Registration/Advertising <br />18-2 Cle Elurn Police Dept. $1,671.38 <br />One Mobile Data Computer <br />18-4 Kittitas Co. Corrections Center $ 860.00 <br />NOVA Electric Shield purchase <br />NOVA Lithium -Shield battery <br />18-5 Kittitas County SAR 55,000.00 <br />Replace Generator in NfC61 <br />18-7 CASA Program $3,400.00 <br />Advertisinor, laptop, reimbursement <br />
