BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - <br />TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO AUTHORIZE A <br />NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE UNIVERSITY WAY BRIDGE #88341 <br />REPAIR PROJECT <br />WHEREAS: The University Way bridge over the BNSF railroad tracks is in need of <br />repair; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has advanced the bridge repairs in conformance with section <br />two of Resolution 2017-058; and <br />WHEREAS: The plans and specifications for the University Way Bridge are complete; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: This Construction Project is included on the Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan and the Annual Construction Plan; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby direct the Director of Public <br />Works to prepare a Notice of Contractors for a call for bids; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that bids will be received until 10:00 am on Tuesday, <br />July 31s`, 2018 at the office of the Department of Public Works, 411 North <br />Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington, to be publicly read aloud <br />after 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 31 st, 2018, in the Department of Public <br />Works, Ellensburg, Washington. <br />DATED on this 3`d day of July, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice -Chairman <br />Commissioner <br />
