The HSGP provides funding to implement investments that build , sustain, and deliver the 31 core <br />capabilities essential to achieving the National Preparedness Goal (the Goal) of a secure and resilient Nation. The <br />building, sustainment, and delivery of these core capabilities are not exclusive to any single level of government, <br />organization, or community, but rather, require the combined effort of the whole community. This HSGP award <br />consists of State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) funding in the amount of $6,493,000.00, Urban Areas <br />Security Initiative (UASI) funding in the amount of $5,500,000.00, and Operation Stonegarden (OPSG) funding in <br />the amount of $1,519,908 .00 . The following counties received Operation Stonegarden funds: Clallam County, <br />$310,045.00; Colville Tribe, $70,000 .00; Ferry County, $100,000.00; Island County, $150,092.00; Jefferson <br />County, $74,000.00; Okanogan County, $140,000 .00; Pend Oreille County, $78,000.00; San Juan County, <br />$140,000 .00;Stevens County, $90,000.00 ; and Whatcom County, $367,771 .00 <br />Article II • Operation Stonegarden Program Hold <br />The recipients are prohibited from drawing down or reimbursing sub-recipients of Operation Stonegarden (OPSG) <br />funding provided through this award until each unique, specific or modified county level, tribal or equivalent <br />Operations Order and or Frag Order has been reviewed, and approved by official notification by DHS/FEMA and <br />-4 -
