Prior Year*
0
Projected*
378
Paid Overnights' Data Support
Explain how the room nights data above from the prior year was collected and how the projection for the next year is
derived. (For example, if there was a survey conducted for the prior year, explain the methodology. For the projections,
what are they based upon and how is that basis justified?)
Prior Year Paid
Overnight's Stay
Response*
Prior Year Paid
Overnight Stay Data
This is a first year event so we do not have statistics on past year's overnight
stays. Below is our reasoning for believing that this event could bring 378 overnight
stays.
We estimate at least 168 people will travel to this event away from their place of
residence or businesses. According to a 2015 downtown zip code survey, 28% of
those surveyed were visiting from outside of their place of residence or business
(600 x 28%=168). Considering our main audience will be those attending Brewfest,
which brings in 43% of their attendees from outside the county, this predicted
number could easily be much higher.
We estimate at least 144 people will travel to this even from 50 miles away or
more.According to a 2015 downtown zip code survey, 24% of those surveyed were
visiting from outside of their place of residence or business (600 x 24%=144 ).
Considering our main audience will be those attending Brewfest, which brings in
43% of their attendees from outside the county, this predicted number could easily
be much higher.
We predict that 66 people will travel from outside the state or country to attend this
event. According to a 2015 downtown zip code survey, 11 % of those surveyed
were visiting from outside of their place of residence or business (600 x 11 %=66).
Considering our main audience will be those attending Brewfest, which brings in
43% of their attendees from outside the county, this predicted number could easily
be much higher.
168+144+66= 378 people
2500 character lirrit.
11 addition to field above, you rray upload the evidence to support the prior years' roorrlnight inforrration.
You rray upload up to three single pages (LB Letter), of inforrration.
