EXHIBIT" A" <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Contractor will create a 3-5 minute video that raises awareness among Kittitas County <br />residents, developers and politician about fire challenges in the area: <br />• GOAL: A call to action for Kittitas County residents to understand the danger of <br />fires in the area and encourage their participation in fire protection practices on their <br />properties. <br />Contractor will accomplish that goal through the following KEY MESSAGES: <br />• Fire is a part of Kittitas County culture <br />o History <br />o Why Kittitas County is unique <br />o The vulnerability of the Northwest and limited resources when Kittitas <br />County is on fire <br />• Property owners have a responsibility to mitigate the risks on their land (also a tie to <br />developers and elected officials) <br />o Wildland-Urban Interface <br />o County, city and state planning have an effect on fire resource response as <br />well <br />• There are many tools available to landowners to help mitigate the risks on their land <br />o Resources from KCCD <br />o Firewise implementation <br />Professional Services Agreement <br />Page 13
