4. Amendments. Any amendment to this agreement shall be in writing and shall be <br />only as specifically authorized by the Kittitas County Board of County <br />Commissioners and the Roslyn Board of Library Trustees as consented to by the <br />Roslyn City Council. <br />5. Duration of Agreement. This agreement shall take effect January 1,2018, and <br />shall continue in effect for a period of one year until December 31, 2018; <br />SUBJECT, HOWEVER, to the County's right to cancel or terminate the <br />agreement, without penalty or obligation by the County for further payment, at <br />any time for any reason during said period on a prorated basis and to recover as <br />refund from the City of Roslyn any prepayment made by the County for <br />remaining unused portions of the County's quarterly payment, upon Thirty (30) <br />Days written notice by the County to the City of Roslyn, sent certified mail, return <br />receipt requested. <br />DATED this 19th day of December 2017. <br />ROSLYN PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD <br />CITY OF ROSLYN <br />Ob. ~~SE ~T ..
