Ellensburg, Washington Wayfinding Master Plan <br />1. introduction <br />Purpose <br />In June of 20 16, the City of Ellensburg and Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce Tourism Division contracted with Amett Muldrow <br />& Associates develop a wayfinding master plan for the City of Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Overall project goals include the following: <br />• to promote major community destinations; <br />• to cultivate the City of Ellensburg as a visitor destination and <br />generate overnight stays; <br />o to enhance tourism and quality oflife; and <br />• to develop an attractive, consistent signage to set Ellensburg <br />apart from competing communities. <br />4
