If your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations,
groups, or other events to cross -promote in an effort to encourage county -wide
tourism, how is this accomplished?
Although I am an individual putting on an event I have many partners that I work with
throughout the year. See list below:
Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce - member related promotions such as weekly bulletin,
business after hours, networking activities, etc
Huffman Farms - display area during her event throughout October in return I provide space
for her during my event.
Thorp Antique Show - fliers and cross promotions
Tuckaway Antiques - fliers and listing on website
Relics - fliers and listing on website
Cross promotions are more visible on my website making sure that cross listings are correct,
information that provides added value spent in the communities throughout the County.
Example:accommodations listing, dining options, links to downtown associations, etc.
Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. Include
any plans for ticket sales, event sponsors, and other cost -recovery models.
The key for this show to grow and become self-sustaining is consistency. The grant allows
consistent marketing and to multiple markets. Creating a positive and fun experience is
what helps measure success of an event. This kind of success is what rings vendors and
shoppers back. The event will become on that is rescheduled on shoppers and vendors
calendars year after year.
Vendors pay for the booth space and there is a $5 admission fee. Both of these prices can
be evaluate to help offset the expenses of the show. Investing any profit money back into
tho, future shows will continue to help this event to grow and become self sustaining.
Additional information: Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging
Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your project and its benefit to tourism. Please
limit any additional written information to one page and any other additional
attachments to 3 pages. Regardless of how much additional information is included,
only the first 3 pages will be provided to reviewers.
8. Project Budget: Please attach a copy of the complete budget for this project/proposal.
If your agency operates independently of this project application it may not be
necessary to submit the entire agency budget. You must submit a budget which
specifically pertains to the proiect/event for which you are _recluestingfunding and
adheres to the basic budget format shown below.
County -wide Lodging Tax Application P a g e 1 12
