This is a run forth adventuresome spirit—it's not your average 51<1 Participants run, <br />walk, crawl, and climb through the course, which winds through the muddy backwoods <br />'. trails of Suncadia's Nelson Preserve neighborhood. It includes obstacles like the mud pit, <br />�y rope swing and 1,000 bale maze, which will push participants to the dirty limit and a <br />muddy finish. Suncadia will also offer a kids -on lyversion forages 12 and younger that will <br />include a tire obstacle, straw pyramid and maze. After the course, participants will <br />receive a cold beverage, sponsored by Iron Horse Brewery (or root beer for the little <br />ones)! Prizeswill be awarded to first, second and third -place trail runners. Pre- <br />registration fee is $20 for adults and $15 for children. <br />o Pee Wee Rodeo (Oct. land 2; Oct. 8 and 9,1:30— 3 p.m.) <br />Kidswill havethe opportunityto be a cowboy for the day with opportunities for hog <br />tying, bull riding, barrel racing and lasso throwing underthe watchful eye of real <br />cowboys. <br />Entertainment <br />o Za mbini Brothers Puppet Show (Oct. land 2; Oct. Band 9,12 —1 p.m.) <br />Puppeteer Bill Jarcho will hold the audience spellbound with his clever, creative <br />storytelling through puppets—perfect for all young -at -heart fans of puppet productions. <br />o Za mbini Brothers Roving Chicken and Zany Gardeners (Oct.1 and 2; Oct 8 and 9, 12 —3 <br />P.M.) <br />A giant chicken puppet and a couple of wacky gardeners will rove the Suncadia grounds. <br />o Live Music by Heels tothe Hardwood (Oct. l and 2;1-2:30 p.m. and 3:15— 5 p.m.) <br />Get dancingwith contemporary Americana blues rock powered by soul with a touch of <br />old fashioned stomp from this Seattle -area band. <br />o Live Music by Bdana Renea (Oct. 8 and 9;1— 2:30 p.m. and 3:15— 5 p.m.) <br />Come enjoy the edgy country and rock rhythms of this talented singer has made a name <br />for herself in music circles throughout the Northwest. <br />Where: Historic Nelson Farm in the Nelson Preserve Neighborhood of Suncadia <br />3600Suncadia Trail <br />Cle Elum, WA 98922 <br />When: Oct. land 2; Oct. 8 and 9 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. <br />Price: Admission to the festival is free.
