Level of Service Standard <br />The level of service standards for the system have been established in the Sewer Facility Plan for <br />the City of Cle Elum Sanitary Sewer, Sections 2, 3 and 4 which include: <br />• National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) water discharge permits. <br />• EPA Secondary Treatment Regulations (40 CPR 133) <br />• State of Washington Effluent Reqlrirements Chapter 173-221 WAC. <br />Public Bulldings <br />City HaIl <br />The City Administrator, Public Works Director, Planner, CleJk, Treasurer, Building <br />Inspector and Plans Examiner, Utility Clerk and Mayor's offices are housed in a city owned <br />facility located at the intersection of First Street and Oakes Avenue. City Hall currently has <br />approximately 3,282.75 Square Feet of working space in the entire building providing the <br />staff support necessary to run these city departments. <br />However, as growth continues to occur in the City ofCle Elum, a new City Hall should be <br />built. Most likely, a bond issue would be sought to fund the expected cost of a new building <br />at approximately ($SM) five million dollars. The City has located a piece of property that is <br />the approximate geographic center for the City of Cle Blum that has ample room for the <br />City's projected space and service needs. <br />The new building would provide office space for the same city departments and also provide <br />for the co-location of the City Police Department and Upper County District Court and <br />associated services, and if built allowing for future growth of each department, alleviating the <br />possibility of a future bond issue for a new larger building. <br />Level of Service <br />120 square feet per person/employee <br />Projected Capital Facility Needs <br />• Administrative offices for the Treasurers office <br />• Administrative offices for the City Clerk <br />• Administrative office for the City Administrator <br />• Administrative office for the City Planner <br />• New Mayors office <br />• Building Department <br />• Copy room and Mail room <br />• Lunchroom <br />• Reception Area <br />• Utility payment center <br />• Council Chambers <br />• Police Department and Offices <br />14
