Project Methodology: <br />Gene Pugnetti of Tieton Group will visit Kittitas County facilities and conduct interviews with <br />Kittitas County personnel regarding their roles and responsibilities, and their view on the <br />security of the County's HIPAA related information assets. These visits will also be conducted to <br />observe, research and collect any current HIPAA policy documentation supporting information <br />security at Kittitas County. <br />Tieton Group will conduct up to 16 hours of interviews with various groups or individuals at <br />Kittitas County who fall under the HIPAA guidelines and requirements. These include, but may <br />not be limited to: <br />1. Public Health <br />2. Department of Corrections <br />3. Juvenile Detention Services <br />4. Human Resources <br />5. Information Technology <br />6. Community Development Services <br />Note: As an initial phase of this project, Tieton Group will first confirm which county <br />departments should be included in the scope of this HIPAA assessment. <br />Deliverable <br />Tieton Group will provide a written deliverable that summarizes the strengths and weaknesses <br />found during the engagement. A ranking by risk of the gaps found will also be included, along <br />with recommendations.
