(pDIS~ og i <br />TO AUTHORIZE CHAIR SIGNATURE ON THE PROSPECTUS FOR THE <br />KITTITAS COUNTY ROAD SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works is managing Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) <br />Highway Safety Improvements Program (HSIP) funds to construct safety <br />improvements to Westside And Huntzinger Roads and <br />WHEREAS: The County was authorized $594 ,900 for the project ; and <br />WHEREAS: Washington State Department of Transportation, Local Programs will administer <br />the funds; and <br />WHEREAS: The County will pay a design cost-share of 10%; and <br />WHEREAS: The County will not pay a construction cost-share if construction is complete in <br />2016; and <br />WHEREAS: This project is included in the county transportation improvement plan; and <br />WHEREAS: FHWA requires Chair signature on the prospectus for funding obligation . <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners , in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby authorize Chair signature on the Kittitas County <br />Road Safety Improvements project prospectus. <br />DA TED this 5th day of May 2015, at Ellensburg , Washington . <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITA~ CO~NTYjWASHINGTON ~~~,J <br />PI , CommiSSioner --
