CITY OF ROSLYN <br />National Historic District and Preserve America Community <br />Generally, visitors to the Roslyn Forest are alone or in small groups. Ninety percent of respondents visit <br />the fo;estaloi1e~ 75 percent ,with one person, <ind '65 percent with two fo-jour ,peopte. When vis iting with <br />, . <br />others, 84 percent are with family and 79 percent are with friends. <br />Visits to the Roslyn Urban Forest ore quite regular. Half of the respondents reported visiting the forest <br />more than once 0 week, whife 25 percent reported weekly visits (Figure 6). The other prevalent visitation <br />patterns reported were seasonal summer use (15 percent) and occasional use (10 percent). <br />Half of the respondents indicated they have concerns about trail conflicts in the Roslyn Urban Forest. The <br />most prevalent concern listed dealt with motorized users, while other concerns included fast-moving <br />bicyclists, unleashed dogs scoring horses and other dogs, and traif blockages causing problems for <br />bicyclists. <br />Figure 6.
