EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Contractor shall perform the following: <br />Contractor shall pick up, transport, and recycle or properly dispose of Scrap Lead Acid <br />Batteries received by the County from each of its two locations: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste Programs Office, 925 S. Industrial Way, Ellensburg, WA <br />98926 <br />Upper County Transfer Station, 50 #5 Mine Rd, Cle Elum, WA 98922 <br />Contractor shall provide such pickup service within 7 calendar days of notification by the <br />County that a shipment is ready. <br />County shall provide Contractor weighing services for shipments leaving County <br />locations. Contractor shall weigh in empty on site and weigh out after receiving <br />prepared shipment. <br />Contractor shall transport and recycle or properly dispose of all Scrap Lead Acid <br />Batteries received from the County in accordance with all federal, state and local laws <br />and regulations. <br />Under no circumstances shall any Batteries hauled from the Kittitas County Solid Waste <br />Facility be disposed of unlawfully by the Contractor. <br />Professional Services Agreement (rev. 12/26/2016) <br />Page 14 of 18
