As a result of th e grant . the median pri ce oropped to $15 mbps/month <br />and median speed increased to 20 mbps . <br />Un der Ihe STOP program, NTIA awarded 233 grants benefitting every slate, as well as nve territ ories and the <br />Distflcl of Col!Jmb ia, to build network infra structure, establish public cO ITlPute r centers, and dev.elop digital <br />literacy training to expand broadban d ad optio n. <br />To dale, B170P grantees have buil t or upgraded more than 11 3,0.00 miles or fiber and COnnected nearly 25,000 <br />community anchor institutions.
