Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITIITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br />AGENDA DATE: March 15,2016 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Board approval of the necessary amendments to the Kittitas County Code and <br />Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan to reflect the Washington State Department <br />of Ecology approved Shoreline Master Program for Kittitas County. <br />BACKGROUND: In a February 22, 2016 letter the Washington State Department of Ecology issued <br />final approval of Kittitas County's Shoreline Master Program, making the updated <br />Shoreline Master Program effective on March 7,2016. This ordinance includes all <br />the Shoreline Master Program changes agreed to by Kittitas County and the <br />Washington State Department of Ecology through the conditional approval process. <br />This ordinance also includes the necessary changes to Kittitas County Code and the <br />Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan to reflect the updated Shoreline Master Program <br />which became effective on March 7, 2016. <br />INTERACTION: CDS, Prosecuting Attorney, Board of County Commissioners <br />ATTACHMENTS: Exhibits A through E, attached as one document <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: CDS Planning Official recommends to the Board of County Commissioners to <br />approve the necessary amendments to the Kittitas County Code and Kittitas County <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />HANLDING: Presentation to the Board by Kittitas County Community Development Services. <br />RESPONSIBLE STAFF: Angela San Filippo, Planner II <br />COMMUNITY PLANNING· BUILDING INSPECTION· PLAN REVIEW· ADMINISTRATION· PERMIT SERVICES· CODE ENFORCEMENT
