BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - <br />TITLE: 2018 Surface Transportation Block Grant Awards <br />WHEREAS: Federal transportation funding is available to local agencies via 2018 Surface <br />Transportation Block Grant (STBG) projects administered by Kittitas County; and <br />WHEREAS: Approximately S2.5 million is available for rural and urban transportation <br />improvement funding; and <br />WHEREAS: Local agencies in the County submitted grant applications that were reviewed and <br />scored by the STBG technical committee; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County is proposing a final project award list to the Board of County <br />Commissioners for funding consideration; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby direct Public Works to issue grant award letters to 2018 <br />STBG Grant recipients in the amount defined in EXHIBIT 1 to this resolution. <br />DATED this 15`h day of May, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Paul Jewell, Commissioner <br />
