A photo can be attached for an additional stamp <br />and the family and friend can purchase a text-based reply for the inmate. A family <br />and friend do not require approval to send an eMessage although it is at the facility <br />discretion if they will approve and allow the delivery based on facility standards and <br />policies. <br />eMessaging Facility Portal <br /> <br />Leveraging the most widely used messaging platform in the corrections industry, <br />Securus eMessaging provides facilities with an intuitive, easy to use system that <br />provides total control over content assessment. The centralized, proprietary <br />platform is managed wholly within the US. The flexible platform can be configured <br />to match the review approach of each facility. An ‘Auto Release’ configuration allows <br />messages to be forwarded automatically when certain conditions are met. The <br />‘Manual Release’ configuration will enable staff to review each message and <br />manually release to the recipient or reject. All messages and photos are retained <br />for future review for the life of the contract even if they are rejected or deleted by <br />recipients. <br />When a message is opened for review additional activities can take place within the <br />screen, such as view the mail history on either the family and friend sender or <br />inmate. This helpful feature enables staff to see who else the family and friend <br />sender has sent messages to and received messages from in the facility.
