© Securus Technologies, Inc. - Proprietary & Confidential Securus Technologies, Inc. | 7

The user will land by default on the’ Admin’ screen in the eMessaging Facility System. There
are two modules accessible here – an ‘Admin’ module and a ‘Mail’ module.
Special Notes:
All facility user permissions will be established by Securus Installation Support
during implementation. Facility users will only be able to process messages,
manage word watch lists and public/inmate eligibility to eMessaging
The eMessaging Facility System portal has been adapted for Securus facilities from
JPay’s industry leading Email messaging platform.
In this customized online portal some menu items displayed are not available
to Securus eMessaging phase 1 at this time. In some cases we have masked
the options but there remain references to future phase eMessaging such as
e-Cards, VideoGrams and Inmate owned stamps. The branding has been
changed to Securus where possible without development but there will be
references to JPay in several screens.
In addition, there are references to JPay’s other services such as JPay
visitation, inmate kiosks and media accounts that do not apply to Securus
services
JPay’s money transfer functions in this portal DO apply to a small but growing
number of facilities JPay trust funding as part of AIS lobby kiosks. This will not
be addressed further in this product guide.
In this product guide and in facility training/documentation we will provide screen
views with these items crossed out in an effort to focus on the important
eMessaging capabilities with this release.
