© Securus Technologies, Inc. - Proprietary & Confidential Securus Technologies, Inc. | 52 <br />MESSAGE RELEASE WORKFLOWS <br />Inbound Message Work Flow <br />There are 2 stages in the inbound message workflow. <br />1) Automated screening tests <br />The system will perform automated tests of messages. <br />Test on Message Routed to <br />Includes words from the Word list? Security <br />To an inmate on a “watch list”? Security <br />From a sender on a “watch list”? Security <br />Has a photo? Security <br /> <br />The facility manages the words, inmates and senders the system tests for. Photo <br />permissions are setup by Securus during implementation. If a test on a message is <br />positive, the message is routed to the Security bucket for manual review. <br />2) Manual or Automated Release of Un-Flagged Messages <br />The facility must decide whether they want to manually approve messages that are not <br />flagged by automated tests. <br /> Auto Release <br /> Unflagged messages are automatically routed to the Released bucket <br />and on to the inmate inbox without any staff effort <br /> When flagged messages in Security are approved, they are moved to <br />the Released bucket and on to the inmate inbox <br /> Rejected messages are routed to Rejected folder and a Rejected <br />eMessage is sent to the FF sender’s eMessage inbox. <br /> Manual Release <br />Unflagged messages are routed to the “Ready to release 'bucket' to wait for <br />facility staff to approve or reject them. <br /> If a message is approved from either the Review or Security buckets, <br />the message moves to the “Release” bucket. <br /> Rejected messages are routed to Rejected folder and a Rejected <br />eMessage is sent to the FF sender’s eMessage inbox.
