<br />Comprehensive Plan Update March 28, 2018 <br />Kittitas County Page 1 <br /> <br />AMENDED SCOPE OF WORK <br />Comprehensive Plan Update <br />Kittitas County, WA <br /> <br />Prepared for: Lindsey Ozbolt <br />Prepared By: Gary Cooper, Senior Planner <br />Date prepared: March 28, 2018 <br /> <br />Overview <br />This proposed scope of work amendment has been developed based on our best estimate of the <br />work remaining to finalize the Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan. This estimate reflects the <br />costs associated with completing the remaining Elements of the Comprehensive Plan, <br />coordination with other consultants currently working on the Transportation Element, <br />preparation and attendance at Working Group meetings, as well as meetings of the Planning <br />Commission and County Commissioners. Also included are tasks related to the processing and <br />approval of the Comprehensive Plan, including completion of the SEPA checklist and notice to <br />Department of Commerce. <br />We have adopted the same phases used in the original contract and Scope of Work for this <br />project for this proposed amendment. Because the majority of the update has been completed <br />you will note that even though there is a Phase 4, since this phase is completed there is a budget <br />of $0. <br />The update effort will consist of the following phases: <br /> Phase 1 – Project Management <br /> Phase 2 – Public Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement <br /> Phase 3 – Mapping and Graphics <br /> Phase 4 – Review of Existing Plans and Data <br /> Phase 5 – Update of Comprehensive Plan Elements <br /> Phase 6 – Complete Draft for County Approval <br /> <br />PHASE 1 – PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> <br /> Task 1.1: Project oversight, communication with County and staff and other consultants, <br />invoice review. <br />Phase 1 Time and Materials Fee Estimate: $3,000 <br />PHASE 2 – PUBLIC OUTREACH AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT <br /> <br /> Task 2.1: 1 meeting with Working Group.
