KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 6, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider <br />Amending Kittitas County Code Section <br />10.08.010 Speed Limits and Section 10.12.010 <br />Stops and Yields for the extended road network <br />of Currier Creek Estates Div. 3. <br />BACKGROUND: Recently, Currier Creek Estates Division 3 finalized <br />construction. The existing road network has been extended <br />within the plat adding new sections of Sunnyview Lane and <br />Middlecrest Drive. Existing roads are posted at 25 MPH. <br />Adding stop conditions to Sunnyview at Creeksedge Way <br />and Sunnyview at Parkview Drive — provides the <br />appropriate public safety addition to the plat. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for February 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm to <br />consider Amending Kittitas County Code Section <br />10.08.0 10 Speed Limits and Section 10.12.010 Stops and <br />Yields for the extended road network of Currier Creek <br />Estates Div. 3. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
